DESCRIPTION:Speaker\nDr. Lauren Yasuda Rainey\, DDS\n\n\n\nDr. Lauren Yasud
 a Rainey is a graduate of the University of the Pacific\, Arthur A Dugoni 
 School of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency at Tufts Un
 iversity School of Dental Medicine. At Tufts she was introduced to the use
  of surgical microscopes for restorative care\, which she continues to use
  today. In addition to clinical practice\, Dr. Rainey began teaching at th
 e Dugoni School of Dentistry in the Department of Reconstructive Dental Sc
 iences and the Department of Dental Practice. There she taught both lectur
 es and hands-on coursework in teledentistry\, pre-clinical fixed and direc
 t restorative and local anesthesia administration.\nDr. Rainey teaches dir
 ect composite restorative programs including black triangle closures\, pre
 dictable Class II techniques and is an advocate for using composite resin 
 for crown alternatives wherever possible. She teaches dentists in the US a
 nd Canada\, both in-person and in virtual hands-on formats\, oftentimes us
 ing a surgical microscope for enhanced visualization.\n\n\nFacing your Fea
 rs: How to Slay Class II Composites\n\n\n\nIt's not you... it's your tools
 ! The traditional class II matrix systems with metal bands\, wooden wedges
  and clamps that guarantee tight contacts are all a mess\, unless you know
  how to use them WITH your prep design. This course will dive deep into cl
 ass II preparation design with the final restoration end in mind. Catching
  gunk at the gingival level? Chipped marginal ridges at recall visits? We'
 ll tackle some of the common pitfalls of what should be a routine\, bread-
 and-butter part of a general\, restorative practice. This course is for yo
 u if you're looking to elevate your confidence in tackling class II poster
