8-Hour Infection Control Course for Dental Assistants:
I’ve had the privilege of being a CDA Speaker on the Dental Practice Act and Infection Control courses, for over 20 years, and I want to help make the 8-hour Infection Control Course for unlicensed Dental Assistants more accessible and affordable. This is why I have partnered with Elevate Dental Institute, Inc. to conduct the 8-hour Infection Control courses at their Berkeley and San Jose schools.
I want every unlicensed Dental Assistant to be well acquainted with infection control and every Dentist to have confidence that infection control is conducted properly. I’m extending a special discounted rate (half of what I normally charge) for these upcoming San Jose and Berkeley 8-hour Infection Control Course classes.
It’s the law. Dentists MUST ensure that their unlicensed Dental Assistants complete a Dental Board–approved 8-hour Infection Control Course before performing any duties with potential exposure to blood, saliva, or other potentially infectious materials. It’s affordable, accessible, and helps dentists legally employ your unlicensed Dental Assistants. After all, it’s been almost one year since California law SB 1453 became effective. I will be conducting the hands-on clinical portion of the training on the following dates and locations:
• Friday, December 13, 2025 – San Jose
• Sunday, December 21, 2025 – Berkeley
• Saturday, January 31, 2026 – San Jose
Participants will complete a 4-hour home-study didactic course prior to attending the 4-hour live hands-on class, making this format one of the quickest and most efficient ways to obtain certification.
