Course Summary:
This multidisciplinary presentation will introduce dentists and hygienists to practical ways to screen for pediatric airway issues and understand when to involve specialists. The panel will outline how orthodontists, myofunctional therapists, and airway-focused dentists collaborate using screening tools, growth guidance, and treatment planning to address airway-related problems. Through several clinical scenarios and workflow examples, the speakers will demonstrate how patients move through evaluation, referral, and treatment depending on age, symptoms, and diagnosis.
